Refraction
A thorough and comprehensive measurement of your eyes has traditionally been of particular importance at EyeVision; we know only too well how important precise eyeglass determination is for the quality and comfort of your daily vision. During the eye test, known as subjective refraction, you are continually asked about your current visual impression by methodically holding up sample lenses. This methodology gives us precise, reproducible measurement results as the basis for your new glasses.
For many people, the quality and comfort of vision is limited by the eyes' visual axes not being optimally aligned. Concentration problems, fatigue or headaches can be possible consequences. Here, too, it is possible to correct this so-called angle-related ametropia using specially ground lenses ("prisms"). The measurement for angle-related ametropia is of course also carried out with the highest precision, but is more time-consuming than a "normal" refraction and should therefore definitely be carried out after an appointment. It is carried out by specially trained master opticians.
Driving license vision test
As a specialist in good vision, EyeVision is also an officially recognized vision testing center for car and motorcycle driving licenses. The driving license test takes a maximum of 10 minutes and can be carried out without prior registration. However, it is in your own interest to approach the test well rested in order to pass it successfully.
Official proof of identity (ID card, passport) is essential for the form to be issued. Visual aids such as glasses or contact lenses must be brought and worn if necessary.
Contact lens fitting
Our contact lenses are adapted for you based on your "optical fingerprint". During the preliminary examination, your eye is scanned using the latest equipment, known as a keratograph. In conjunction with your individual visual acuity and the intended wearing habits, we will order you a pair of trial lenses.
These are finely optimized during the follow-up check in terms of fit, mobility, wetting and strength. Satisfied customers are happy to use our convenient contact lens subscription after successful adjustment. This offers you an all-round, worry-free package for all eventualities of contact lens wear and includes the following services:
- Automatic delivery of new contact lenses
- Automatic delivery of care products
- Automatic reminder for upcoming contact lens replacement
- Routine eye check every six months
- Exchange of closed original boxes if strength changes
- Free replacement if lens is defective
- Free trial of new products
Repairs
In our workshop, which is equipped with the latest machines, we not only glaze your new glasses with the corresponding lenses in-house, but also carry out smaller (and larger) repairs such as soldering, cementing, fitting screws, nose pads, temples and other spare parts. We also offer a refurbishment of plastic glasses, which, after polishing, shine again with a fresh coat of paint.
